Job summary

Community in Florida seeks an experienced LPN/LVN supervisor to oversee nursing care for residents and manage the daily activities of nursing assistants in line with federal, state, and local regulations. Your leadership will help maintain high-quality care and smooth unit operations.

You will ensure adherence to Nursing Service Procedures, coordinate shifts and programs, and support ongoing quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability to manage nursing staff.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with physicians and families.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure all nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Plan shifts, services, programs and activities for residents.
• Complete accident/incident reports and ensure proper documentation.
• Chart and document patient information accurately and timely.
