Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living in Dublin, OH is seeking a compassionate health and wellness leader to supervise caregiving within the community and maintain a homelike atmosphere that respects residents' independence.

You will supervise resident care staff, coordinate training, verify hours and scheduling, monitor health status, assist with medication management, and communicate with families. You will participate in quality improvement and safety activities, and share on-call duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision of resident care staff and evaluates performance.
• Coordinates training and ongoing education for staff.
• Verifies hours, completes nursing schedules and arranges replacement staff as needed.
• Monitors residents' health, reports changes to Health and Wellness Director.
• Assists in medication management and maintains records and storage standards.
• Communicates with families regarding resident needs and appointments.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and safety checks.
• Shares on-call duties as required.
