Brookdale is seeking a supervising health and wellness leader at a Dublin, OH community to oversee resident care staff and ensure high-quality care. You will coordinate training, monitor staffing and budgets, and communicate health updates to leadership and families.

The role requires ensuring medication management within scope, maintaining records, and participating in safety and quality initiatives to support residents and staff in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Provides direct supervision of resident care staff and collaborates with community leadership on evaluations.
• Coordinates ongoing training and education of resident care staff.
• Maintains records of hours, staffing schedules, and budget adherence.
• Monitors resident health status and reports significant changes to Health and Wellness Director.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision of resident care staff, including performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinates training and education of resident care staff on an ongoing basis.
• Verifies associate hours on time cards and schedules to meet resident needs and budget.
• Observes residents, reports health changes and reactions to medications to leadership.
• Assists in medication management and ensures proper storage and records as per Brookdale policies.
• May administer medications within scope of practice and reviews residents who self-administer.
• Monitors medication administration and conducts regular MAR audits.
• Communicates with families regarding residents’ needs and schedules physician/dental/optical appointments.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and safety/infection control checks.
• Participates in community events and on-call duties.
