Job summary

Mesa Hills Post Acute is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the Nursing Department with a range of administrative and care tasks. This role requires vigilant reporting of changes in residents' conditions and accurate communication with the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.

You will help with daily routines, resident transport, and assisting with meals and activities while maintaining safety and a respectful, caring environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 8th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
• Ability to write reports and communicate with managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursing Department and staff with administrative and patient care tasks.
• Report accidents/incidents to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Answer phones and assist residents and staff as needed.
• Maintain clean resident rooms and common areas and assist with daily tasks.
• Follow safety and infection control policies and assist with resident care as directed.
