Job summary

Mesa Hills Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time 2pm–10pm shift. You will provide routine nursing care per each resident’s care plan, greet and assist residents, and support the nursing team with daily tasks.

This role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and accurate record-keeping. Qualifications include current CNA license, CPR preferred, and a minimum 10th-grade education.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state CNA license.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident care plans.
• Identify residents before procedures when using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record all entries accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in residents' conditions to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable resident environment.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and daily activities as trained.
• Protect resident privacy and comply with HIPAA during care.
