Job summary

Columbia Post Acute is seeking a nurse leader to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will help plan shifts, review policies, maintain quality assurance, and coordinate with other services to ensure residents receive safe, appropriate care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Maintain the Daily Census Report and submit to the Business Office as required.
