Columbia Post Acute is seeking an RN-H (Healthcare) to assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing the day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility. This role emphasizes compliance with rules and guidelines, updating policies, and keeping reference materials current to support resident care.

The incumbent will participate in committees, manage staffing, ensure manual accuracy, and support quality assurance efforts.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing service operations to meet current rules, regulations and guidelines in a long-term care setting.
• Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures for the nursing service department.
• Ensure nursing reference materials at nurses' stations are current and aligned with standards of practice.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure compliance with it across staff.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to the Director of Nursing Services.
