Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Resident Assistant (RA) to provide nursing and personal care to residents under supervision of the Wellness Director. You will support daily living activities and safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of residents in accordance with the facility’s policies and regulations.

Shifts include Full-Time 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm), Full-Time 3rd Shift (11pm-7am), and Part-Time 2nd/3rd Shifts. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, paid vacations, tuition reimbursement, and

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be free from communicable diseases/Tuberculosis.
• Must have CPR certification or be willing to obtain prior to working independently in the facility.
• Must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must demonstrate the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of resident care areas and equipment for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out resident care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and restorative nursing.
• Report and record changes in resident conditions and needs.
• Be responsible for the well-being and nursing care of all residents on duty.
• Keep residents’/tenants’ bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy.
• Ensure work areas are clean, hazard-free and equipment is properly stored.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Perform tasks as assigned in individual Service Plans.
• Follow facility policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
