Job summary

AA Healthcare Management is seeking a Resident Assistant for full-time, 2nd and 3rd shifts to support residents requiring 24-hour supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, promote independence, and uphold facility standards.

The role involves administering medications within scope, maintaining safety, and collaborating with a team to deliver quality care and positive resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Hold all 4 Wisconsin CBRF certificates: First Aid and Choking, Fire Safety, Medication Administration, and Standard Precautions.
• Pass medications correctly according to the DON staying within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Hold all 4 Wisconsin CBRF certificates: First Aid and Choking, Fire Safety, Medication Administration, and Standard Precautions.
• Pass medications correctly according to the DON staying within scope of practice.
• Assist/Prompt residents with laundry to complete tasks with supervision as needed.
• Assist/Prompt residents with cooking, ensuring safety and teaching skills.
• Assist/Prompt residents to complete cleaning tasks with help as needed.
• Engage residents in facility activities per the calendar, respecting wants and rights.
• Ensure safety and security of all residents at all times.
• Assist residents to appointments with support and supervision.
• Work with staff as a positive team for resident happiness and success.
• Encourage residents to share concerns and refer to therapist if needed.
