Job summary

Great Lakes Management in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a long-term care or assisted living setting. You will assist with daily activities, communicate with residents and families, and coordinate with the case manager to address changes in condition.

The role involves interaction with residents in dining and activity participation, documentation, and ensuring a compassionate, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated in the service agreement.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe residents and report changes to the case manager.
