Job summary

Singh Management is seeking a Supervising Intensive Caregiver (SIC) to lead Resident Care on shift and ensure smooth operations. You will supervise caregivers and medication technicians, verify orders, and maintain patient safety and comfort through proactive management of tasks and communications.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a compassionate approach to elderly care, with responsibility for coordination with nurses and other staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• In North Carolina, CNA is required.
• Caregiving or Med Tech experience is required.
• Experience working with the elderly and memory impairment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregivers and medication technicians on assigned shift.
• Fill in assignment sheets for next shift and adjust as needed.
• Ensure staff signed out pager and has a working walkie.
• Ensure caregivers respond to resident calls promptly.
• Respond to hospital calls, family concerns, falls, incidents; contact nurse if needed.
• Follow up with orders, medications, labs, and family calls.
• Restock aide stations and infection control bins.
• Check medication deliveries for accuracy before signing and distributing.
• Provide shift report to promote continuity of care.
• Complete rounds and ensure assignments are completed; observe residents.
• Check lab book/info board for changes; manage pending orders and hot box items.
• Complete any additional duties per Wellness Coordinator or Executive Director.
