Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver to act as shift leader, ensuring exceptional resident care while coaching the caregiving team. The role combines hands-on caregiving with frontline leadership and mentorship.

You will lead coverage, coach staff on quality and documentation, review ISP-aligned charting, monitor residents, and promote safety and compliance across shifts. Strong communication and prior senior care experience are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care.

Aufgaben

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure ISP alignment.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
