Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CNA is required (North Carolina specificity appears in duties).
• Caregiving or Med Tech experience is required.
• Experience working with the elderly and memory impairment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise caregivers and medication technicians on assigned shift.
• Fill in assignment sheets for next shift and adjust for current shift.
• Ensure staff have signed out pager and have a working walkie.
• Respond to resident calls in a timely manner.
• Follow up with orders, medications, labs and family calls.
• Provide shift reports to promote continuity of care.
