Guthrie is hiring a Nursing Assistant for the Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) full-time evenings. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and support individualized care plans to promote comfort, dignity, and independence for residents.

The role emphasizes resident safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration in care planning, with opportunities for professional growth and participation in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous nursing assistant experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communication.
• Maintains CPR certification.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Check required.
• Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification required within 120 days of hire.
• CPR/AED Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct resident care and ensure resident comfort.
• Assist in activities of daily living and in meals.
• Participate in team conferences and care planning.
• Maintain residents' rights and safety.
• Complete daily documentation and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist in orientation of nursing assistants and participate in performance improvement activities.
