Guthrie is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) on a full-time basis. You will work under the direction of registered nurses to provide direct resident care, assistance with activities of daily living, and support for individualized care plans in a compassionate, safe environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous nursing assistant experience preferred, but not required.
• Must follow universal precautions and utilize proper body mechanics.
• Maintains CPR certification.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Check required.

Aufgaben

• 1. Compliance with rules and regulations of all federal, state, and local governments is a requirement of employment.
• 2. Provides direct care to assure resident comfort.
• 3. Participates in team conferences and care planning.
• 4. Prepares residents for meals, assists in feeding.
• 5. Maintains resident's rights.
• 6. Makes rounds. Anticipates resident needs and responds to call lights.
• 7. Reports to appropriate nursing personnel pertinent information including any changes observed in condition or behavior of resident.
• 8. Provides input into resident care plans.
• 9. Assists in maintaining safe and clean environment.
• 10. Other duties assigned, reasonably related.
• 11. Assists in orientation of nursing assistants.
• 12. Completes daily documentation.
• 13. Keeps informed of fire, safety, and disaster programs.
• 14. Attends designated in-service programs.
• 15. Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
• 16. Attends staff meetings.
