Job summary

Covenant Living of Colorado is seeking a compassionate non-certified care attendant with medication administration responsibilities to support residents in our Westminster community. You will assist with daily activities, monitor residents’ wellbeing, and administer medications per physician orders under state regulations.

This entry-level role emphasizes safety, comfort, and social engagement, with training provided to align with our standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Knowledge of prioritizing tasks and managing schedules effectively.
• Knowledge of privacy regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
• Ability to build trust with clients and their families to ensure a positive caregiving relationship.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Reminds residents of scheduled activities, meals, and events as needed.
• Assists with medication supervision and administration according to state regulations.
• Assists with laundry and dining room service duties.
• Observes residents’ condition and reports changes to the assisted living director.
• Responds to residents’ call signals and ensures safety and security.
• Provides socialization opportunities and encourages participation in activities.
• Assists activities staff with daily events and weekend programming.
• Transfers residents to meals and activities, including wheelchair transport.
• Participates in admission, orientation, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Cross-trains to support all levels of care as needed.
