Job summary
Covenant Living and CovenantCare at Home in California is seeking a non-certified care attendant to support residents with daily activities and medication administration in accordance with state regulations.
You'll provide compassionate care, monitor residents’ condition, assist with meals and mobility, and coordinate with nursing staff. This entry-level role offers growth within a faith-based, continuing care retirement community network.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medication Assistant training required by state regulations.
- Entry level position; training provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
- Assist with medication supervision and/or administration per orders.
- Assist with dining room service and meal trays; observe residents while eating.
- Observe residents' condition and report changes to the assisted living director.
- Assist in admission, orientation, discharge and transfer of residents.
- Be cross-trained to work in all levels of care (AL and AL Memory Care).
