Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services in Westminster, MD is seeking a non-certified care attendant with medication administration responsibilities. The role focuses on serving residents with daily living tasks, safety and well-being, and administering medications per physician orders.

You will assist with activities, dining, mobility, and transitions while adhering to state regulations. Training and certification as Medication Assistant preferred; entry-level candidates welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate in Medication Assistant training per state regulations preferred.
• Entry-level experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with medication supervision and administration per state regulations.
• Assist with dining, meal service, and delivering meal trays as needed.
• Respond to residents' call signals and ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Support activities staff with daily programming and social events.
• Assist residents with mobility and transportation to meals/activities.
• Assist in admission, orientation, discharge, and transfer of residents.
• Cross-train to support all levels of care.
