Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Manager in Lawrence, Kansas to oversee resident care and the care staff, reporting to the Director of Nursing. You will develop individualized service plans, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory compliance to maintain high standards of care and resident safety.

The role emphasizes leadership, program development, and collaboration with families, staff, and community leadership to support resident well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher with 2+ years of care leadership experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience also acceptable for senior roles.
• CNA or CMT certification preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop resident-directed programming to meet resident needs.
• Coordinate and document activities in the individualized service plan.
• Lead and mentor care staff; provide training on dementia care best practices.
• Schedule care staff and ensure adequate coverage.
• Oversee resident care across all levels of care within the community.
• Promote dignity, independence, and quality of life for residents.
