Job summary

Cedarhurst Living in Shawnee, KS is seeking a part-time LPN/RN to deliver and coordinate resident care under the Director of Nursing. The role combines clinical duties with leadership of care staff to uphold safety and quality standards.

You will administer medications, update assessments and care plans, support daily living activities, and communicate with residents, families, physicians, and leadership to ensure compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current LPN or RN license.
• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services per nurse practice act and regulatory standards.
• Administer and document medications accurately per five rights.
• Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission and changes.
• Coordinate resident care with families, physicians, and staff.
• Support activities of daily living and resident education as needed.
