Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking an LPN/RN to deliver, coordinate, and evaluate resident care under physician orders and individualized service plans. The role includes medication administration, assessments, documentation, and guiding care staff to ensure safe, high-quality care in a resident-centered environment.

The nurse will support safety initiatives, communicate with families and physicians, and help implement care plans while upholding Cedarhurst’s standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current state license for LPN or RN is required at all times.
• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred but new graduates are welcome.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs, web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and HR-related systems as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services in accordance with nurse practice act and regulations.
• Lead and oversee care staff regarding residents' needs.
• Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission and related intervals.
• Administer and document medications following five rights.
• Support resident education and safety initiatives.
• Communicate changes to physicians and families and coordinate with care teams.
