Waltonwood seeks an experienced Resident Care Manager to lead the Resident Care Department and promote high-quality, compassionate care for residents. The role involves assessments, care planning, staff training, and medication management to support a safe and dignified living environment.

You will oversee Wellness Nurses, Coordinators, and Scheduler, coach staff, coordinate with families on health changes, and participate in on-call rotations. Weekend/holiday availability may be required.

Qualifikationen

• RN license required in NC and preferred in MI/VA.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree required.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications required.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience required.
• 3–5 years of experience with seniors preferred.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Aufgaben

• Lead the Resident Care Department by example and support staff development.
• Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance across assessments, referrals, care coordination, and care plans.
• Provide wellness care and follow up on resident concerns.
• Participate in care conferences with families to communicate health changes.
• Assess vitals and report changes to health professionals.
• Coordinate move-ins and assess prospective residents for fit.
• Administer and assist with medication management using eMAR.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels through leadership of Wellness Coordinator and Scheduler.
• Train associates on relevant topics to create an educational environment.
• Participate in on-call rotation within the department.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
