Waltonwood Wellness Coordinators lead the Resident Care team, ensuring staff coverage, payroll management, and professional development for Caregivers and Med Techs. They coordinate assessments, service plans, and regulatory compliance while promoting resident well-being and family satisfaction.

Through daily rounds and medication management, they ensure safe care delivery and collaborate with the Resident Care Manager to maintain high-quality living environments for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications is required.
• LPN license in North Carolina is required.
• Previous leadership and staff scheduling experience required.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care is preferred.
• Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsabilités

• Ensure staff coverage through hiring, scheduling, and daily assignments.
• Manage Resident Care payroll, progressive counselling, motivation, performance appraisals, coaching, training, and recognition.
• Lead the Caregivers and Med Techs by setting a positive example and supporting professional growth.
• Maintain the Resident Care budget under the Resident Care Manager.
• Assist the Resident Care Manager with resident assessments and service plans.
• Work with the Resident Care Manager on maintaining accurate service plans.
• Communicate with all levels of the community and handle multiple tasks with good decisions.
• Motivate staff to involve Life Enrichment activities for residents.
• Follow up on resident concerns and participate in care conferences with families.
• Maintain regulatory compliance for licensed communities.
• Administer and assist with medication management using eMAR.
• Participate in on-call rotation within the department.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Resident Care Manager.
