Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care in Vernal, UT seeks a Resident Care Coordinator to lead the direct care team, oversee hiring, training, development, evaluation and supervision of aides across all shifts, manage scheduling, and troubleshoot personnel issues.

Under the Executive Director, you ensure compliant documentation, participate in monthly staff meetings, supervise timekeeping and payroll processes, and uphold HIPAA and state regulations while delivering compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Valid Utah CNA certification or license is required.
• MedTech training or equivalent healthcare tech training.
• HIPAA training or equivalent privacy compliance knowledge.
• Background checks and TB testing per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents as part of the care team.
• Lead and supervise aides across all shifts, including hiring, training and evaluation.
• Schedule staff and resolve personnel issues as they arise.
• Coordinate with providers to ensure proper documentation of resident care.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and deliver in-service education for staff.
• Prepare and maintain employee and volunteer files per state and federal regulations (TB testing, background checks, HIPAA).
• Monitor timekeeping and assist with payroll processes as directed by the Executive Director.
