Job summary

StoryPoint seeks a dedicated Care Specialist to coordinate and deliver high-quality resident care across our Michigan communities. You will lead care team efforts, administer medications, and ensure accurate documentation while promoting safety and respect for residents.

Required are CPR/First Aid certification (or obtained within 30 days), a high school diploma or GED, and completion of Care Specialist I and II training within 90 days. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; successful completion of Care Specialist I and II within 90 days of hire.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to use company software and eMAR systems.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, communicate clearly, and work with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate resident care following service plans.
• Lead and participate in staff orientation and training.
• Administer medications per physician orders and policies.
• Complete daily charting and documentation.
• Respond promptly to resident calls, alarms and safety concerns.
