Job summary

StoryPoint Group seeks a Resident Care Supervisor to direct clinical resident care services and lead a team within our community. The role emphasizes delivering a 1440 experience, optimizing performance, and strengthening employee connections.

Qualified candidates have Assisted Living/Memory Care and supervisory experience, a health-care related degree or HFA license, and dementia care expertise with recent training. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care required and prior supervisory experience.
• Degree in health care, mental health or social services, or a licensed Health Facility Administrator.
• Minimum 1 year of dementia/Alzheimer’s care experience within the past 5 years.
• Minimum of 12 hours of dementia-specific training within the last 3 months.
• Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team and overall accountability for performance.
• Conduct Evaluations & Care Conferences for AL/MC: ensure right care at the right price with the right staff.
• Foster Employee First by setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback.
• Oversee resident care and communicate with families clearly and regularly.
• Understand and lead to the 1440 care standards.
• Perform admissions evaluations and set measurable goals for residents.
• Schedule educational sessions relating to health for all residents.
• Communicate emergency policies and keep staff updated.
• Possess flexible schedule including on-call, weekends and holidays.
