Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a dedicated Care Specialist to provide and coordinate resident care, ensuring safety and quality. You will lead care team members, participate in orientation, and support the Life Enrichment program to enhance resident well-being.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, Care Specialist I & II training within 90 days, and CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; successful completion of Care Specialist I and II within 90 days of hire.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office in a Windows environment and ability to learn company software.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate resident care as outlined in service plans.
• Administer/pass medications to residents per physician orders and policies.
• Assist with schedule coverage and respond to resident call signals and alarms promptly.
• Complete daily charting and documentation; communicate orders to staff and families as required.
• Lead or participate in activities and support the Life Enrichment program.
