Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group seeks a dedicated Care Specialist to provide and coordinate resident care, lead the care team, and participate in orientation and training for staff. You will ensure safety and quality care per resident service plans and communicate effectively with physicians and families.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of Care Specialist I & II within 90 days, and CPR/First Aid certification (or within 30 days).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of Care Specialist I and II within 90 days of hire.
• At least 6 months of recent experience as a Care Specialist or equivalent is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate resident care to ensure quality care is delivered.
• Lead care team and assist with orientation and training for team members.
• Review and update resident care plans and perform daily rounds with physicians.
• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and policies.
• Maintain documentation and reporting; ensure confidentiality and infection control.
• Support activities and promote a positive work environment for residents and staff.
