Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group operates Riley's Grove Assisted Living and Memory Care in Michigan. This role leads the shift, oversees resident care, and ensures safety and quality of service. The position requires directing care staff, providing training, and maintaining accurate documentation.

You will administer medications per physician orders, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with the director to ensure excellent resident care and compliance with policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; complete Care Specialist I & II within 90 days
• CPR/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to use company software
• Experience in a care/assisted living environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead shift team and oversee resident care needs
• Orient and train care team members; maintain positive work environment
• Ensure safety and adherence to infection control and policies
• Administer medications per physician orders and document appropriately
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to Care Coordinator/Director
• Complete daily charting and maintain confidentiality
