PACS in Tampa, FL is seeking a kitchen cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor. You will maintain a safe, clean kitchen and prepare meals in large quantities according to menus and portion controls.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least one year of hospital/long-term care cooking experience, ServSafe certification, and the ability to read procedures and follow recipes. Strong teamwork and attention to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must maintain safety and sanitation standards in kitchen.

Responsabilités

• Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner.
• Prepare tasteful meals and cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Follow prepared menus and portion control guides; prepare special diets as needed.
• Record food temperatures and assist with serving meals.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and maintain hygiene standards.
• Report resident care concerns to the Administrator/Director of Nurses.
