Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a universal employee to perform housekeeping and dining service. You will clean resident apartments and common areas, greet residents, take orders, and serve meals with a courteous approach.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform housekeeping duties following sanitation standards and current guidelines.
• Ability to communicate, in a clear and concise manner with residents in the care and cleaning of their apartments.
• Ability to present meal alternatives to residents and guests.
• Have a general knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Demonstrates a patient and creative attitude with the ability to “think outside the box.”

Responsibilities

• Regular, on-site attendance and punctuality are required as scheduled.
• Takes responsibility for maintaining current knowledge of the Hawthorn Senior Living Employee Handbook.
• Adheres to all Company policies, procedures and standards.
• Cleans resident apartments according to Hawthorn guidelines and schedule, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, dusting, bathrooms, kitchenette, linens, and more.
• Cleans community common areas according to schedule (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restrooms, windows, trash removal).
• Serving duties: greets residents, takes orders, delivers meals, serves beverages and assists with dining duties.
• Maintains food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
