Job summary

Newbury Court is seeking a licensed nurse to lead the Resident Care Department, directing operations and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will coordinate care services, policy adherence, and staff supervision to maintain high-quality resident life.

The role requires a Massachusetts RN license, CPR certification, and experience in assisted living or long-term care. Strong communication and emergency decision-making are essential for daily operations and family interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Nurse with a current Massachusetts license.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience, preferably in Assisted Living or Long-term care.
• Two years of supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act and EOEA Regulations for Assisted Living.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct the overall operations of the Resident Care Department per state/local regulations and community policies.
• Ensure services for all residents are delivered according to NEDA policies and procedures.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting residents and personnel for the Resident Care Department with the Garden’s Director.
