Maplewood Senior Living in Bethel, CT is seeking an RN Designee to support the Resident Services Director in memory care operations. Qualifications

• Must be a CT-licensed RN with memory care or assisted living experience.
• Experience coaching nursing and care teams in a memory care setting.
• Strong understanding of Alzheimer’s and dementia care best practices.

Responsibilities

• Alzheimer's and dementia care expertise; promote person-centered care and resident safety.
• Oversee nursing operations with the Director of Nursing; guide care teams.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans for residents with dementia.
• Provide leadership in non-pharmacological interventions for behavioral needs.
• Coordinate staff education and in-service training on memory care techniques.
• Monitor medication delivery and coordinate with health care providers.
• Ensure compliance with policies and state regulations; quality assurance.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Promote independence and meaningful daily activities for residents.
