John Knox Village of Central Florida seeks a Care Coordinator to oversee resident care delivery in our Oak View assisted living community. The role focuses on care management, medication oversight, risk control and staff supervision to ensure clinical excellence.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida nursing license, CPR certification, and CEUs; they will supervise nurses and aides, coordinate admissions and ensure EMR accuracy and regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida nursing license.
• CPR certification required and CEUs up to date.
• Experience in assisted living, case management and care coordination.
• Ability to supervise staff and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the overall implementation, delivery and coordination of resident care.
• Oversee nursing staff and direct clinical responsibilities.
• Evaluate resident care needs and report changes promptly.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Ensure documentation complies with state and federal regulations.
• Provide direction to licensed nurses, PCAs and CNAs.
• Report incidents timely and follow up as needed.
• Participate in conferences, trainings and staff meetings.
• Provide after-hours nursing care as needed and maintain resident relations.
