Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a full-time Day Shift Care Specialist to provide and coordinate resident care while leading the care team and ensuring high-quality service. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and teamwork within the community.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, completion of Care Specialist I and II within 90 days, and CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire, plus at least 6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; complete Care Specialist I and II within 90 days
• At least 6 months of recent Care Specialist or equivalent experience
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office in Windows environment and basic software skills

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate resident care to ensure quality care
• Lead the care team and participate in orientation and training
• Administer medications as physician orders and policies
• Review physician orders with eMAR and pharmacy support
• Communicate with physicians, staff and families about resident care
• Maintain safety, infection control and confidentiality standards
• Complete daily charting and reporting
• Assist with scheduling and on‑call rotations
