Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office in a Windows environment, with a capacity to master company specific software.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Communicate in a respectful and professional manner with residents, families, co-workers and leadership staff at the community.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion.
• Provide compassionate care for residents per service plans, including bathing, grooming, dining and mobility assistance.
• Review eMAR and physician orders for accuracy and update records.
• Observe and report resident condition changes to Wellness Leadership Team.
• Take resident weights and vitals; complete daily charting and reporting.
• Assist with meal setup and cleanup and participate in activities with residents.
• Promote positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and leadership.
