Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a dedicated Care Specialist to provide and coordinate resident care, ensuring quality and leadership for the care team in our Michigan senior living community.

You will treat residents with kindness, manage medications, maintain charts, participate in training, and support activities, with on-call rotation and a focus on safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and Care Specialist I and II training within 90 days of hire.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least 6 months of recent experience as a Care Specialist or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate resident care to ensure quality care is delivered and lead the care team.
• Assure residents are treated with kindness and respect and protect them from accidents and injuries.
• Perform rounds with physicians and communicate orders to staff and families as required.
• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and policies.
