Job summary

Midwest Health Inc in Kansas seeks a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) who is a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to lead our nursing team and oversee resident care. This role reports to the Executive Director and focuses on compliance with care policies, admissions, and ensuring resident well-being.

The RCC will supervise staff, monitor regulatory compliance, and support residents with admissions and care needs, fostering a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
• Experience supervising nursing staff is preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal care regulations.
• Ability to review and explain policies to staff.

As an RCC, you will work under the general supervision of the Executive Director to:

• Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care, including but not limited to meal service, activities, housekeeping and laundry, personnel and public relations under specific directives from the Executive Director. Explain policies to staff and other concerned parties.
• Monitor personal and staff compliance with all state and federal regulations including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, resident rights and other applicable areas.
• Assist residents with admission and assure compliance with all State and Federal requirements regarding admission, to include but not limit to initial Advance Directives, Resident Rights information, and assessments as required.
• Provide care and compassion to foster the resident’s physical and emotional well-being
