Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. in Holton, Kansas, is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to lead our nursing team.

The RCC must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and will work under the Executive Director to ensure high‑quality resident care. Responsibilities include reviewing policy compliance, monitoring state and federal regulations, assisting with admissions, and providing compassionate care to support residents’ physical and emotional well‑being.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
• Knowledge of Kansas and Federal requirements for admission.

Responsibilities

• Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care under directives from the Executive Director.
• Monitor personal and staff compliance with state and federal regulations including infection control and resident rights.
• Assist residents with admission and ensure compliance with Kansas and Federal admission requirements.
• Provide care and compassion to foster residents' physical and emotional well-being.

As an RCC, you will work under the general supervision of the Executive Director to:

• Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care, including but not limited to meal service, activities, housekeeping and laundry, personnel and public relations under specific directives from the Executive Director. Explain policies to staff and other concerned parties.
• Monitor personal and staff compliance with all state and federal regulations including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, resident rights and other applicable areas.
• Assist residents with admission and assure compliance with all Kansas and Federal requirements regarding admission, to include but not limit to initial Advance Directives, Resident Rights information, and assessments as required.
• Provide care and compassion to foster the resident’s physical and emotional well-being.
