Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. in Mission, Kansas, seeks a Clinical Support RN (LPN) to act as a primary clinical responder, offering real-time guidance, clinical decision-making, and care coordination to support residents and staff.

You will collaborate with Executive Directors and RCCs to assess and manage complex clinical situations, advise on level of care, document interactions in EMR, and participate in QAPI activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with a compact/multistate LPN license.
• Experience responding to complex clinical situations (falls, changes in condition, behaviors).
• Strong communication with physicians, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time guidance as part of QA and respond to calls/alerts.
• Manage and document complex clinical situations in EMR or other software.
• Advise on level of care and recommend interventions for residents.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and staff.
• Review, educate, and guide on sentinel events; participate in QAPI.

Midwest Health is looking for a Clinical Support RN serves as a primary clinical responder and escalation resource, providing real-time guidance, clinical decision-making, and care coordination to assist communities and provide support as needed.

This person will work with the Executive Directors and RCCs (Resident Care Coordinator) to do the following:

• Perform real-time guidance as part of quality assurance and respond to incoming calls and alerts
• Manage and document complex clinical situations (falls, change in condition, behaviours)
• Advise on appropriate level of care and recommend for resident interventions
• Communicate with physicians, families, and staff
• Document interactions in EMR or other software
• Review, assess, educate, and provide guidance on senital events and participate in the QAPI program

This person have a compact/multistate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
