Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator-Certified Caregiver to oversee care staff within the community. You will supervise daily caregiver activities, coordinate training, and help ensure residents receive compassionate, quality care aligned with policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring staff hours, supporting medication processes, documenting incidents, and coordinating with families and health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision of resident care staff, including monitoring job performance and coaching.
• Coordinates training and education of resident care staff on an ongoing basis.
• Verifies hours on time cards and schedules to ensure proper coverage and budget alignment.
• Observes residents’ health status and reports changes to Health & Wellness Director.
• Assists in medication management and maintains required records and storage standards.
• Monitors medication administration and conducts audits of MARs.
• Notifies leadership of significant incidents and emergencies.
• Communicates with families about residents’ needs and appointments.
• Participates in care plan reviews and maintains resident charts.
• Performs safety and infection control checks and supports community leadership.
