Job summary

Avamere at Hermiston is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to coordinate resident care needs and staffing, maintain schedules, and support the Director of Health Services. Location: 980 West Highland Avenue, Hermiston, OR 97838.

The RCC will supervise and train Caregivers and Medication Techs, document resident changes, participate in audits, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain a warm, cheerful environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
• Ability to schedule and supervise Caregivers and Medication Techs.
• Ability to train and mentor caregiving staff.
• Commitment to resident confidentiality and compassionate care.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care needs and staffing, including scheduling.
• Maintain and update coordination tools and records (logs, care plans, nurses notes).
• Train and supervise Caregivers and Medication Techs.
• Assist residents with daily living activities as needed.
• Conduct regular audits and quarterly evaluations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
