Job summary

Avamere at Hermiston in Hermiston, Oregon is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to supervise resident care services, coordinate staffing, and maintain clinical records in accordance with policies and regulations.

The RCC assists the Director of Health Services, trains care staff, conducts audits, manages schedules, and supports daily living activities while fostering warmth and a calm, cheerful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification active.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.
• Preferred: Licensed CNA in Oregon.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Compassionate, professional demeanor; maintains resident confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care needs and staffing, and maintain schedules.
• Document changes in residents' status, needs, and appointments.
• Train Caregivers and Medication Techs; supervise care delivery.
• Support daily living activities (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Conduct audits weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Assist with new resident assessments, move-ins, and transitions.
• Ensure safety and comfort of residents; follow policies/regulations.
• Participate in morning stand-up meetings and provide feedback.
• On-call staffing after hours and weekends as needed.
