Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to lead operations in Assisted Living, Terrace Club and Reminiscence neighborhoods, guiding care planning and ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care.

You will manage staffing, coordinate with clinical partners, monitor resident conditions, and promote a compassionate, compliant care environment while partnering with dining and activities teams to enrich daily life.

Qualifications

• Experience in resident care leadership and care management preferred.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of assigned neighborhood(s) in compliance with regulations and Sunrise standards.
• Participate in resident evaluations and develop Service Plans.
• Create staffing schedules and daily care assignments based on resident needs.
• Lead move-in meetings and coordinate care with the Resident Care Director when clinical support is needed.
• Monitor changes in resident condition and ensure timely communication with families and providers.
• Partner with Dining and Activities teams to enhance the resident experience.
• Maintain compliance with QAPI, OSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Manage department budget, labor and expenses.
• Recruit, hire, train and coach care team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and promote team engagement.
