Job summary

Addington Place of Clarkston, part of Senior Lifestyle Corporation, is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to oversee Assisted Living operations, schedule staff, and participate in care plan meetings with families to ensure high‑quality resident care.

The RCC will lead frontline team members, manage ISP updates as resident needs change, promote company policies, and communicate with families and management to maintain smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• HS or GED required.
• 3–5+ years caregiver experience preferred.
• CAN experience preferred, scheduling and communicating with families.
• Certification: CNA preferred.
• Fluent English required for communication with residents and families.
• Basic computer skills; Excel for scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Support HWD by managing Assisted Living team members.
• Schedule Assisted Living team members.
• Participate in Care Plan meetings with families and residents and manage ISP’s as resident needs change.
• Promote all company policies by ensuring communities provide the best care.
• Participate in weekly at-risk meetings with leadership to address resident needs.
• Review and implement processes for operational efficiency (e.g., shower schedules, laundry schedules, caregiver assignments).

In this role you will be responsible for day to day operations as it relates to resident care while promoting and integrating the mission and philosophy of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. The RCC manages the care staff in AL by scheduling, evaluating, and supporting the frontline care staff while reporting to the HWD. The RCC should be in close contact with resident families and be instrumental in care plan meetings and service issues as they relate to care.

Job Description

• Support HWD by managing Assisted Living team members.
• Schedule Assisted Living team members.
• Participate in Care Plan meetings with families and residents and manage ISP’s as resident needs change.
• Promote all company policies by ensuring SLC communities are providing the best care possible for our residents.
• Participate in weekly at risk meetings with HWD, ED, MCC/ MCD to ensure leadership team is aware of all resident needs.
• Review and implement all necessary processes for optimal operational efficiency such as- shower schedules, laundry schedules, caregiver assignment sheets, etc.

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education: HS or GED
Area of Study: General
Years of Experience: 3-5+ years caregiver experience preferred
Type of Experience: CAN experience preferred, scheduling, communicating with families
Special Certifications: Prefer CNA
Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.
Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills, Excel for scheduling

• Need to be organized, flexible, and even tempered.
• Ability to communicate with families, frontline team, and community management team to ensure optimal operational success.
