Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Clarkston is seeking an organized supervisor to manage the Assisted Living team and schedule staff on site.

You will participate in care plan meetings with families and residents, adjust ISP plans as needs change, and promote company policies to deliver top-notch care.

Qualifications

• HS or GED required; general area of study.
• 3–5+ years caregiver experience preferred.
• CAN experience preferred; scheduling and family communication.
• Certifications: CNA preferred.
• Fluent English to read, write and speak with supervisors, coworkers, residents and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Manage Assisted Living team members.
• Schedule Assisted Living team members.
• Participate in Care Plan meetings with families and residents and manage ISP changes.
• Promote policies to ensure best care across communities.
• Attend weekly at risk meetings with HWD, ED, MCC/MCD to keep leadership informed.
• Review and implement processes for operational efficiency (shower, laundry, caregiver assignments).

• Support HWD by managing Assisted Living team members.
• Schedule Assisted Living team members.
• Participate in Care Plan meetings with families and residents and manage ISP’s as resident needs change.
• Promote all company policies by ensuring SLC communities are providing the best care possible for our residents.
• Participate in weekly at risk meetings with HWD, ED, MCC/ MCD to ensure leadership team is aware of all resident needs.
• Review and implement all necessary processes for optimal operational efficiency such as- shower schedules, laundry schedules, caregiver assignment sheets, etc.

Level of Formal Education: HS or GED
Area of Study: General
Years of Experience: 3-5+ years caregiver experience preferred
Type of Experience: CAN experience preferred, scheduling, communicating with families
Special Certifications: Prefer CNA
Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English in order to perform job duties and speak, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.
Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills, Excel for scheduling
Skills and Ability:

• Need to be organized, flexible, and even tempered.
• Ability to communicate with families, frontline team, and community management team to ensure optimal operational success.

Personal Attributes: Calm personality that possess the ability handle stressful situations with an easy demeanor, ability to multi task and follow through, and self-motivated.
