Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will work as part of a caring team dedicated to quality food and resident satisfaction.

The position starts at USD 18.00 per hour with a range of employee benefits including telemedicine, prescription discounts, EAP, financial wellness support, training, and career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
