Freedom Village Holland is seeking a Resident Care Associate (RCA) / Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and assist licensed staff within a senior living community managed by Life Care Services. The role offers full- and part-time schedules and opportunities for advancement.

Pay ranges from $14.50 to $20.00 per hour with shift differentials; sign-on bonuses of $2,000 for PT and $3,500 for FT are available.

Qualifications

• Prior geriatric experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to document care accurately.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, positioning, and exercising.
• Perform basic treatments, tests, and procedures as instructed.
• Record observations and care provided.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Change linens, make beds, and maintain clean resident rooms.
• Maintain safe and sanitary work areas.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Attend in‑service training and education sessions.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Currently Hiring: Full & Part-time

Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000 PT / $3,500 FT

About the Role

• Assist licensed nursing staff with activities of daily living
• Support residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, eating, and mobility
• Provide routine care to promote independence and dignity
• Serve as a stepping‑stone to becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
• Freedom Village pays for CNA classes + state testing through MTEC
• Guaranteed promotion and pay increase once certified

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, positioning, and exercising
