Job summary

Freedom Village Holland is seeking a Part‑Time CNA for the 1st shift (6am–2pm) to provide compassionate personal and clinical care for residents in a long‑term care setting. You will document observations, support independence, and respond quickly to resident needs while maintaining dignity and safety.

Qualified candidates hold a Michigan CNA certification, speak English, and can assist with transfers and daily activities. Competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan CNA certification is required.
• Ability to document care accurately in charts.
• Ability to transfer residents (50+ lbs) with proper equipment and support.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and non-personal care to residents.
• Support independent living while offering needed assistance.
• Promote dignity, safety, and resident engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of care and observations.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call for aide alerts.
• Take vital signs as indicated.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and bed changes.
• Escort residents to dining, therapy, activities, and appointments.
• Make daily rounds to ill residents.
• Keep Supervisor informed of resident status.
• Monitor medication compliance.
• Assist with tray service and meal support.
• Participate in ongoing resident assessments.
• Attend weekly update and Health Committee meetings.
• Support residents and families as needed.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Currently Hiring: Part‑Time 1st Shift (6am–2pm)

Salary: $16.50–$22.25/hr

Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000 PT / $3,500 FT

Shift Differentials: +$3.00 (2nd shift) +$5.00 (3rd shift)
