Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is hiring a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities in Suffolk, VA.

Responsibilities include helping with meals, mobility, and mobility transfers, performing light housekeeping, and responding to emergencies while following all policies. A HS diploma, PCA program completion, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have completed approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel and residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping tasks in resident areas and apartments.
• Respond promptly to calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Assist new residents with move-in transitions and emotional support.
